Right now, we’re searching for a Vice President of Client Strategy to help us accelerate our goal of playing on the national stage with purpose-driven clients. 

At Common Good, we know we are nothing without superstar-level client service. Within this role, you’ll accelerate our clients by fostering a Client Leadership department that is best in class. This role is a valued advisor and partner to our most senior clients. You’ll identify new work streams and solutions that lead to client growth while mentoring our skilled Client Leadership staff to continuously improve. You’ll identify and champion great creative work, understand the importance of flawless delivery, and keep a very careful eye on the financials all at the same time.

You’ll have:

• 10+ years of experience in leading Client Services and at a creative agency/advertising agency
• A deep understanding of our clients’ business challenges and landscape and the ability to guide them at the highest level
• Proven ability to work with C-Level executives
• Expert client relationship skills including building relationships, presenting to clients, dealing with multiple stakeholders, and ability to think on your feet
• An understanding of the complexities behind launching integrated campaigns, and how to bring together cohesive programs and drive high-quality, effective work for clients.
• Adept at high-level strategic thinking,  but also extremely detail-oriented and a stickler for process
• An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring creative excellence/output
• Strong communication skills, particularly with oral presentations (developing and presenting)
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Strong pricing & negotiation skills

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Drives agency revenue growth by identifying profitable opportunities  and services with existing clients and maximizing Common Good’s involvement
• Keeps a trained eye on the financials of accounts including development, review, and management of retainers and SOWs, pricing, profitability, as well as the department’s successful delivery of client requirements
• Represents Client Leadership in new business development and high-level pitch meetings
• Ensures client satisfaction with all aspects of agency performance (strategy, creative, quality, etc.)
• Keeps a pulse on what’s happening in the category and shares insights and thought leadership with clients, team, and agency partners to reinforce our strategic value
• Develops and enforces Common Good’s process and our ‘way to work’ with the Client Leadership department, ensuring consistent delivery of products and services across the studio.
• Hires, trains, and manages account management staff as needed

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time position and employees must be available to work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Occasional travel or evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Compensation

$150-175K annual salary dependent on experience. Benefits include unlimited PTO, paid parental leave, 401k match, Health & Happiness and Work From Home stipends, profit sharing, and more.
